Produkttest: Bornprettystore/ Swatching Sunday #13

After having chosen the products I wanted, Allison from Bornpretty told me that the products would arrive in 3-4 weeks. Indeed they were here much earlier. I don't remember the exact date but it was around 2 weeks after chosing the products.
Everything reached me in perfect state.
I chose the following:

  • G.N Nail Polish Feather N 8029 (12ml/4,99$)
  • CH Nail Nail Lacquer Fluoreslence Polish 13 (15ml(4,99$)
    • I was quite confused about the word "fluoresLcence" because I thought it shall be fluorescence but oh well. (Warum heißt das ganze flouresLence?)
  • Random Nail Art Studs (1 wheel of random studs/4,89$)
When i went for the fluorescent nail polish I hoped that it's one of them that glow in te dark themsenlves, not under black light but of course I was wrong... Anyways, here we go.

The Brushes are okay. Nothing really to say.
In the following, I applied two coats of each.
natural light
flash light
The fluorescent polish is a creamy finish pastel shade opaque in 2 coats. The feather polish a clear base with various glitter and small stripes in it, that shall probably create the "feather"look.

3-4 coats of feather, 2 coats of fluorescent
To test, wether the fluorescent nail polish is really fluorescent, or only shining in black light, i tester in under my UV lamp.

There, it's definately shining and gleaming, so I guess it will be my next favourite polish to go to the clubs :P I was a little bit disappointed that it's not gleaming at night on its own but still a beautiful colour at day.

Because the feather polish was so transparent, I thought it might server well as a top coat. I tried it on random blue shades and I like the results alot!

Concerning the wheel of studs I think less is more. I was really raring to try those.

As you can see, I only used a single square stud on my ringfinger because I liked the gold stud on dark red very much. I think it's still a classic look wearable every day.

All in all, I'm very very happy with the products. Ok, the fluorescent polish is not really fluorescent. The feather polish is very transparent and needs 3-5 coats to be completely opaque and then needs alot of time to dry.
My favored product of the three is definately the wheel of nail art studs because they are just awesome! Does anyone of you use studs on the nails from time to time too?
